Spaghetti with Peas & Basil

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    13 oz spaghetti
    2 cups fresh peas
    1Tbsp olive oil
    2Tbsp lemon juice
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions
Add peas to pasta during last 2 minutes of cooking
Drain - reserving 1/4 of cooking liquid
Heat oil for 1 minute over med heat.
Remove from heat & add pasta mixture, reserved water, lemon juice, salt & pepper - toss well
Mix in Basil
Divid among 4 bowls -
- Serve with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese if desired (not included in nuturtion info)
