basic spaghetti sauce

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 T Olive oil
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic chopped
    2 cups of stewed tomatoes ( I use my home canned)
    2 cups tomato sauce ( I use my home froxen)
    1 (6oz.) tomato paste

Directions

Heat Oil and add onion and garlic ( I also added mushrooms) and cook until onion is tender. Drain tomatoes and use blender to purree, leaving small chunks of tomato. Add purreed tomatoes, sauce , and paste,to saucepan and stirl till paste is blended. Add basil, oregano, and splenda. Simmer on low for 10 minutes.
