Apple-Cinnamon Biscuit

Introduction

A great way to start your day or a wonderful mid-afternoon snack. A great way to start your day or a wonderful mid-afternoon snack.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1-1/2 cups of all-purpose baking mix
    Dash of cinnamon
    1/4 cup lite applesauce
    1/4 cup 2% milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 450*F.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Then roll mixture in flour or baking mix to form a log and cut the log about half an inch to an inch thick.
Lay pieces on a baking sheet then bake for about 9-15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • I just made these and they were pretty good - escpecially still warm from the oven. I spritzed mine with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray. The kids ate theirs with Smuckers Sugar Free Strawberry Preserves. Be sure to use as little flour as possible to roll and brush off any excess. - 12/23/07
