Apple Almond Muffins (2.5 points per/serve)

Introduction

Add a teaspoon of Aniseed or Almond Essence for a lovely aroma. Add a teaspoon of Aniseed or Almond Essence for a lovely aroma.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Honey, 2 tbsp
    Clementine, 2 serving
    Apples, fresh, 1 cup, peeled and chopped
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Self raising Flour, white, 1 cup
    Almonds, .25 cup, slivered
    Aniseed/Almond Essence (or other flavour to suit), 1 tsp
    1 medium egg


Directions

Peel and blend clementines with honey and egg until smooth. Add flour and mix through (do not blend). Add all remaining ingredients and mix through. Spoon into 6 muffin cases and cook until risen and cooked through.
