Judy's Easy Turkey Baked Ziti

Introduction

Not an authentic ziti receipe, but it's easy to make and my family loves it, so I call it ziti! Not an authentic ziti receipe, but it's easy to make and my family loves it, so I call it ziti!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Whole wheat penne pasta
    ground turkey
    spagetti sauce
    mozzarella cheese

Directions

Cook box of penne pasta according to directions on box.
Brown ground turkey in a pan adding any seasonings you wish (I add Mrs. Dash, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper)
Once pasta and turkey is cooked, spray 9x13 pan and add pasta and turkey to the pan. Add spagetti sauce and mix up all the ingredients. Once pasta and meat is coated with sauce, add in some of the mozzarella cheese and mix into the mixture. Then add remaining mozzarella on top and bake for 20-30 min on 350 or until cheese in really melted and bubbly. Ready to serve!
