Ingredients

    2 - 250g (8.8oz) bags of Spaetzle
    2 oz of milk
    1 Jumbo egg
    2lbs 93 % ground beef
    Salt & Pepper
    1/2 cup of bread crumb
1- 4oz can mushroom pieces and stems (low or no salt)
    2 pkgs brown gravy mix
    2 cups water
    Sal Ppper

Directions

Cook spaetzle according to package directions. While the water is heating, prepare the meatballs.
Meatballs:
In a large mixing bowl beat egg, juice from the can of mushroooms and milk till blended. Add the gound beef and mix thoroughly (it'll feel wet). Mix in the bread crumbs.
Make 1-1.5 inch meatballs, place in pan over med high heat, add .5 cup water and cover. Steaming cooks the meat through and prevents the meatballs from drying out.
For the gravy:
Using a whisk, beat together the soup, gravy mix mushrooms and 2 cups of water. Cook in microwave for 2 minutes, beat and reppeat until thick and bubbly. On the stove heat until boiling, stirring contantly.
It's up to you how to serve.
