Green smoothie (spinach/romaine)

Introduction

This was a great intro to green smoothies. This is the first one I tried and I like it more the more I drank. The first taste was a little odd, but I really liked it by the end and can't wait for another one. This was a great intro to green smoothies. This is the first one I tried and I like it more the more I drank. The first taste was a little odd, but I really liked it by the end and can't wait for another one.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 C fresh spinach
    1 C fresh romaine lettuce
    1 banana
    handfull of blueberries (frozen, unsweetened)
    handfull of strawberries (frozen, unsweetened)
    1 tsp. of raw honey
    two handfulls of ice cubes
    1/2 C water

Directions

If you have a good enough blender, throw everything in and blend until smooth. Or blend lettuce and water first, then everything else. Enjoy!

(I filled popcicle trays with the leftover and my kids love these! Great way to sneak in veggies.)
