Heather's Granola

Number of Servings: 40


    Pecans, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Almonds, 1 cup, sliced (remove)
    *cashew nuts, raw, 1 cup (remove)
    *Country Choice Organic Old Fashioned Oats, 6 cup (remove)
    *Pumpkin seed kernels, serving =1/4 cup, 2 serving (remove)
    Sunflower Seeds, without salt, .5 cup, hulled (remove)
    **Flax Seed, 4 tbsp (remove)
    *Sesame Seeds, .25 cup (remove)
    *Bob's Red Mill Unsweetened Flaked Coconut, 1 cup (remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Cardamom, ground, .33 tbsp (remove)
    Salt, .5 tsp (remove)
    Honey, .5 cup (remove)
    *Vermont Sugar-Free Maple-Flavored Syrup, 0.5 cup (remove)
    Sesame Oil, .5 cup (remove)

Mix all dry ingredients together in large bowl. Mix well.
Combine liquid ingredients into microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 1 minute until honey is melted and mixture stirs together.
Pour liquid mixture over dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Spread into thin layers onto large sheetpans.
Bake @ 320 degrees:
10 minutes and stir
10 minutes and stir
5 minutes and stir
Keep checking and stirring every 5 mins until its toasted and light brown.
Remove from oven and cool on cooling rack. Granola will dry up as it cools.
Once granola has cooled store in an airtight container.

Makes approximately 40 - 1/3cup servings.
