Each of these filling bars has a full serving each of whole grains, fruit and protein. They're full of fiber and have enough healthy fats to keep you feeling full. They contain no refined sugars. Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 cups quick oats
    3 cups rolled oats
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1.5 cups rasins
    1 tbls cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp ginger
    1/2 tsp salt
    1.5 cups mashed banana
    1.5 cups unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 cup honey
    6 eggs
    1 cup boiling water

Directions

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients except water. Combine dry and wet ingredients and add water. Pour into a 9x13 greased baking pan and bake at 350 F for 35 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and cut into 12 bars. Move to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely. Best stored in the refrigerator, and freeze well.
