Potluck Meatballs (Full Fat Version)

Introduction

These have been made by a lady at church for every potluck we attend and they're awesome! These have been made by a lady at church for every potluck we attend and they're awesome!
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    MEATBALLS
    3 lbs. Hamburger
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups oatmeal
    2 eggs
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. black pepper

    TOPPING
    3 cups ketchup
    2 tablespoons liquid smoke
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions

MEATBALLS:
Mix well with hands. Make into balls. Place in a 9 x 13 pan.
TOPPING:
Mix and spoon over the meatballs. Bake for 45 mins at 350 degrees.

Makes about 24 depending on the size of your meatballs, but for the nutrition info I divided it into 24 pieces.

    That's great! I'm glad they enjoyed them. They're a HUGE hit with my 2 yr old. We're having them tonight and you can always freeze the leftovers for another meal later!
