Potluck Meatballs (Full Fat Version)

Ingredients

MEATBALLS
3 lbs. Hamburger
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
TOPPING
3 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons liquid smoke
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Directions
MEATBALLS:
Mix well with hands. Make into balls. Place in a 9 x 13 pan.
TOPPING:
Mix and spoon over the meatballs. Bake for 45 mins at 350 degrees.
Makes about 24 depending on the size of your meatballs, but for the nutrition info I divided it into 24 pieces.

Quick, easy, and delicious. People at the potluck started asking who brought the meatballs so they could learn the recipe. Our potluck dish was too small for the entire batch, so a smaller dish of seven meatballs is ready to serve at home tonight! - 12/6/11

That's great! I'm glad they enjoyed them. They're a HUGE hit with my 2 yr old. We're having them tonight and you can always freeze the leftovers for another meal later!
