Introduction

For my Black and Decker bread-maker, it said it would be a 2.5 lb loaf, but it made a 3 lb loaf, which I sliced into 30 slices (15 slices then cut in half) For my Black and Decker bread-maker, it said it would be a 2.5 lb loaf, but it made a 3 lb loaf, which I sliced into 30 slices (15 slices then cut in half)
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    2 cups butter milk (80 to 90 degrees F)
    1/4 cup water (80 to 90 degrees F)
    2 tbsp unsalted butter cut into pieces
    2 tbsp sorghum (or molasses)
    2 tsp salt
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    4 cups bread flour
    3 tsp active dry or bread machine yeast

Directions

Measure ingredients into bread maker in the order listed. Make a well in the middle of the flour to hold the yeast.
Follow your bread maker instructions using a whole grain setting, medium crust color.
