Braised Paprika Chicken

Ingredients

    6 Chicken Breast (skin/bone removed; approx 4 oz each)
    1 Tsp salt (divided)
    1/2 Tsp Pepper
    1 Tbsp Olive OIl
    1 Tbsp Butter
    3 Tbsp Minced Dried Onion
    Pinch - Sugar
    1 Cup diced Red Bell Pepper
    1/2 Cup diced Green Bell Pepper
    2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
    2 Tbsp Sweet Paprika
    1/2 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper
    1/2 Tsp Ground Marjoram
    1 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
    1/2 Cup Sour Cream, reduced fat
    1 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour


Directions

Cut chicken into good sized pieces. Season with 1/2 tsp salt and pepper.

Heat oil and butter in skillet. Add onion and sprinkle with sugar. Stir in bell peppers, tomato paste, paprika, and crushed red pepper. Add the chicken and stir. Springle with marjoram and add broth. Cover the skilled and simmer over medium-low heat until for 30-40 minutes, stirring occassionally.

Just before done, whisk sour cream, flour, and remaining salt in a small bowl until smooth.

Push chicken to side of skillet and stir sour cream mixture into the sauce, stirring until it coats the spoon. Mix chicken into sauce and hit approximately 1 minute.

Serve over brown rice seasoned with Dill and/or Chives.
