Apple Compote

Ingredients

    3 Gala apples
    2 Tblsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

Quarter apples and remove core and seeds. Place quarters in a bowl and microwave for 3 minutes (until soft). Dice softened apples. Saute softened apples in a small skillet adding the spices and sugar for about 4 minutes. Delicious in crepes, on frozen yogurt, oatmeal or in a peanut butter sandwich. Serving size is 1/4 cup.
