Ingredients

1 green pepper diced
1 onion diced
1 cup celery diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
12 oz ground beef
1 1/2 tsps Chili powder (or much more as desired)
1 can diced tomatoes w/zesty jalapenos
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1/2 can tomato paste
1 can Canellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
Note: when Not watching calories, I would add 1/4 c honey
Directions
Crumble hamburg and saute with peppers, onion, garlic and celery. Drain fat. Add chili powder and tomatoes. simmer 15 minutes.
Add beans and tomato paste. simmer 25 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
Makes approximately 6 2-cup servings.
I serve it over brown rice.
