Spaghetti meat Sauce

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Half Large Onion - chopped
    1 lb Laura's Lean Beef (4% fat)
    1 can crushed tomatoes (15oz can)
    1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz can)
    4 tbls tomato paste
    3 oz Red Wine
    2 tbls grape jelly
    2 tbls fresh basil chopped
    2 tbls minced garlic
    2 tbls olive oil or butter
    parsley, salt, and thyme to taste

Directions

Turn skillet on medium
Add butter or olive oil
Add onion and cook for about 5 minutes
Add ground beef and cook until meat is done
Add Red Wine and let it cook off for about 2 minutes
Add remaining ingredients and cook for 10 minutes
Turn temp to low and let cook for about 2-3 hours for taste to mature
