Brown Rice Pudding

Introduction

An acquired taste. Very Pennsylvania Dutch. Very thick. Some like to dilute it out with additional milk after serving but I like mine straight up! An acquired taste. Very Pennsylvania Dutch. Very thick. Some like to dilute it out with additional milk after serving but I like mine straight up!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 twelve-oz cans fat-free evaporated milk
    1 cup water
    1 quart 1% milk
    1 cup Splenda
    1 cup brown rice, uncooked
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp/ vanilla extract

Directions

Place all ingredients into crockpot. Stir well. Put crockpot on high. Cook for three hours, stirring every half-hour. Will thicken up in fridge.
