Glazed Carrots

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb carrots (I use baby carrots, but you can peel/cut regular ones)
    2 T butter
    1T sugar
    1 T brown sugar
    a splash of water.

Directions

1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Mix in sugars.
2. Add carrots, toss to coat.
3. Add a splash of water to give the carrots a bit more liquid to cook in (if you want to measure, approx. 1/4C)
4. Cook covered over medium heat until desired tenderness is reached. Allow approx 20 minutes, though you can easily adjust the cooking time to suit your preferred texture.
