IntroductionA new take on the Philly Cheese Steak. A new take on the Philly Cheese Steak.
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 Medium onion, thinly sliced
1/2 small poblano chile, seeded and thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, crushed through a press
1 lb chicken tenders
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 (1-oz) slices provolone cheese
2 (3-4oz hero or hoagie rolls, split and toasted
Add Chicken, salt; cook uncovered turning occasionally, untile chicken in browned and cooked through, about 4min. Remove from skillet from head. Top chicken with cheese; cover skillet and let stand until cheese melts, about 1min.
Fill each roll with half of the chicken filling. Cut each sandwich in half.
serving = 1/2 sandwich.
