I made this on a football playoff game day. Perfect. I added an extra V-8 and served with low fat shredded cheddar. Next time, I will add garlic and spices to the turkey as I'm browning and add a can of kidney beans, just because I like them in chili. Very easy, tasty and low fat recipe. - 1/24/11

This is my FAVORITE recipe I have found on here. The best part for me is I can make dump everything in a Crockpot and leave it for 4 - 5 hours and when I get home I have a great meal. Thanks for the recipe. I am making it again this weekend. - 11/27/10

  • Complimentary comments from the whole family from 84 yr old o 9 yr old! It's easy, the turkey in it tastes great. I added a few pinto beans to use up a leftover and used no salt added diced tomatoes with a little extra tomato juice. - 1/28/14

  • I thought it was quite yummy. I added dark red kidney beans to this recipe. My husband, on the other hand, didn't like the corn...it offended his sensibilities concerning the ingredients of Chili. If I had framed it as another meal, he would probably liked it just fine!!! - 11/2/13

  • I added a can of tomatoes instead of the juice. Very tasty and can be heated up over and over again since we all seem to eat at different times. You can make it as spicy or bland as you like it. Is a standard "go to" meal at our house. - 10/18/13

  • Fantastic! To cut sodium, I used dried beans and replaced the seasoning mix with a Tbsp of cumin, salt to taste, and a whole head of garlic with just the top sliced off. Because I needed more liquid (dried beans) I added an extra can of V8, some water and some chopped tomato. My family LOVED it! - 10/26/11

  • Very easy. I am looking forward to trying it as leftovers - I brought it to work for lunch today. The tomatoes that I added had sugar in them (don't ask me why) - I didn't look at the can's ingredients until after I had put them in the cooker and tasted the chili. - 5/3/10

I makes this almost once a week in place of a pasta night. Plus if you make it on the stove it can be a quick and easy meal. My kids and husband add alittle shredded chedder, a table spoon of lite sour cream and some whole wheat tortillas for a little extra something. - 1/18/10
