Ingredients

    1 c. lentils
    1/2 c. brown rice
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 T butter
    2 T olive oil
    cumin
    salt
    pepper

Directions

Cook onions slowly in butter and olive oil. Cook lentils and rice with water and spices. Add onions during last 30 minutes of cooking.
