Muesli (DD)

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups rolled oats
    1 1/2 cups water
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon or orange juice
    1/2 cup finely chopped prunes
    1/2 cup finely chopped dried applies
    1/4 cup chopped dates (can substitute currents)
    2 tablesppons slivered or chopped almonds, toasted

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.

AFter well mixed, cover muesli and refrigerate for eight hours or overnight.
Serve cold with unsweetened soy milk. You can also boil water and then add equal parts muesli, cooking for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly over medium heat. Serve with unsweetened soy milk.
