Cashew And Mushroom Flan

Introduction

Nut cream based flans are an alternative to dairy! Nut cream based flans are an alternative to dairy!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Canola Oil 1tsp
    Mushrooms 100 grams
    Cashews 60 grams (broken into chunks)
    Marjoram dried, 0.5 tsp
    Soy Sauce 1 tsp
    Paprika 1 tsp
    Dry Roasted Peanuts 30 grams
    Almonds 30 grams
    Water 150 ml

Directions

Heat oil and fry mushrooms gently until soft.

Add cashews and toast for about 3mins until browned.
Put into flan dish, spread over the base.

Grind together peanuts and almonds, add in soy sauce and herbs, add enough water to make the consistency of double cream.

Pour mixture over mushrooms.

Spinkle paprika over the top.

Bake at 200'C for 30-35 minutes.
