Little Peep's Chicken Noodle Soup

Introduction

An old-fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup that is low in fat and sodium! Perfect for cold days and "curing" bad colds! An old-fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup that is low in fat and sodium! Perfect for cold days and "curing" bad colds!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts--diced
    2-32 oz.. Cartons Swanson's Low Sodium Chicken Broth
    3 Wyler's Reduced Sodium Chicken Bouillon Cubes
    3 cups No Yolks Extra Broad Egg Noodles
    1.5 cups each: chopped celery
    diced onion
    chopped carrots
    2 large Bay leaves-whole

Directions

*Pour the 2 cartons of chicken broth into a large pot.
*Add the 3 bouillon cubes and diced chicken
*Allow to simmer until chicken is almost done (about 10
minutes)
*While chicken is cooking, chop carrots, onion, and celery.
*Add carrots first, then onion and celery and cook for ap. 10
more minutes.
*Add 2 whole bay leaves
* Add egg noodles and cook until the noodles are tender.

***Remove bay leaves before serving***

***I like to add lots of cracked black pepper to my bowl!***

This recipe freezes well!
