Five Bean Hot Dish

Introduction

Fastastic Baked Beans in Crock Pot. Can be made vegetarian by omitting meat and bacon. Fastastic Baked Beans in Crock Pot. Can be made vegetarian by omitting meat and bacon.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef or turkey (we use turkey)
    1 tsp prepared mustard
    2 tsp vinegar
    1/2 lb bacon, finely diced
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    15 oz. can lima beans, drained
    1 tsp salt
    15 oz can butter beans, drained
    1 cup ketchup
    16 oz. can kidney beans, drained
    32 oz. vegetarian baked beans
    15 oz. can red beans, drained

Directions

1. Brown ground beef in deep saucepan. Drain.
2. Stir in mustard, vinegar, and bacon.
3. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well Pour into large slow cooker.
4. Cover. Cook on Low 3-5 hours.

Makes 16 1-cup servings
