Salad Burger

Ingredients

    1 can kidney beans
    .75c wheat bran
    1 can tomato paste
    1 cup of zucchini
    4 tbsp nutritional yeast
    lots of salad greens
    mushrooms

Directions

Mix all together and bake for 35-40 minutes then broil for 5 min.

  • I've made variations on this recipe. For the salad greens, any greens will do (lettuce, beet or turnip greens, cabbage, etc.). Just chop them finely (bruising in the process), try to drain water so the burgers aren't too moist. "lots" of greens here means, work with at least several cups. - 8/26/07
