Onions, raw, 0.25 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
Curry powder, 1 tbsp
Olive oil Vigo, 2 tbsp (remove)
Sea salt coarse Alessi, 0.25 serving (remove)
Pepper, black, 1 tsp (remove)
*Potato, raw, 3 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) (remove)
Apples, fresh, 1 large (3-1/4" dia) (approx 2 per lb (remove)
Raisins Mariani, 1 oz (remove)
Sour cream Breakstone, 4 tbsp (remove)
Chicken Thigh, 6 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook (remove)
Saute onion in olive oil about 2 minutes. Season with 1 tsp curry powder and saute 1 minute. Season chicken with balance of curry powder, salt & pepper. Place potatoes, apple peeled & chopped, raisins & chicken in crockpot. Cook 3 to 4 hrs on high or 6 to 8 hrs on slow. Prior to serving, remove chicken & potatoes to plate & keep warm. Add sour cream to remaining juices whisking until smooth. Cook for 10 minutes or until warmed through. Spoon sour cream sauce over chicken & potatoes. Add cilantro sprig as garnish if desired.
