Sweet-spiced Sweet Potatoes

Introduction

1. Combine potatoes, brown sugar, sinnamon, nutmeg and salt in CROCK-POT slow cooker; mix well. Cover; cook on LOW 7 hours or on HIGH 4 hours.
2. Add butter and vanilla; gently stir to blend

  • I absolutely love sweet potatoes, making them this way I know I will love it. I grow my own and the red sweet potatoes when you bake them, open the skins the sugar juice runs out they are so sweet. I will have to change the recipe a little because my sweet potaotes are so sweet and no salt. Love it. - 10/4/10
