Ingredients

    2.5 cups Reggano macaroni (210 cal / .5 cup)
    12 oz Velveeta made with 2% milk (60 cal / oz)
    .5 cup non-fat skim milk (45 cal / .5 cup)
    5 oz Broccoli florets, steamed/cooked

Directions

Cook macaroni according to box instruction. Cube Velveeta and once macaroni is al dente, drain macaroni, return them to the pot, and add Velveeta. Microwave broccoli florets with some water and cover with Saran wrap to steam them. Set stove to low-medium to melt Velveeta to stir and coat the macaroni. When broccoli is done in the microwave, drain and add them to the macaroni.

This recipe makes 1350 grams and 6 servings of 225 grams each.

  • This was a simple recipe to prepare. I made it for my family's game night and there were no left-overs! Maybe the next time I'll live on the edge and add 1/2 cup of chopped onion, 1/8 tsp black pepper and a dash of dry mustard simply because they add no extra calories. Thanks for posting! - 2/9/13
