Death by Chocolate Cupcake - Frosting

Ingredients

    1/2 c. chocolate chips, semi-sweet
    2 T. butter, unsalted
    1 T. maple syrup or agave nectar
    1/2 t. vanilla extract

Directions

In a small sauce pan over medium low heat, melt butter and sryup. Add the chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and beat in vanilla extract. Move quickly to frost 36 cupcakes before frosting cools. If frosting does cool, return to heat while stirring constantly until frosting consistency is again managable.
