Introduction

This flourless breakfast bar is just sweet enough and has staying power. I did not figure the baking soda and salt into the recipe, so if you are watching sodium keep that in mind. Ingredients


    * Quick Oats, 1 1/2 cup
    * Egg, fresh, 1 medium
    * Granulated Sugar, 1/8 cup
    * *Canola Oil, 1/8 cup
    * Silk, Unsweetened Soymilk, 1/2 cup
    * *SunMaid Fruit Bits, 1/4 cup
    * Kretschmer Wheat Germ 2 T
    * **Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 2T
    * Applesauce, unsweetened 1/2 cup
    Baking Powder, 1 t
    Salt, 1/2 t
    Cinnamon, 1 t

Directions

Mix oats, baking soda, salt, sugar, and cinnamon together well. Add wet ingredients, mix well. Stir in fruit bits and walnuts. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until firm and slightly browned.
