1 medium green bell pepper (about 5 oz)
1 oz hannaford all natural cheedar cheese, grated
1 oz baby bella mushrooms diced
1 oz onion, diced
2 oz shadybrook farms 93/7 ground turkey
1/4 cup hannaford tomato sauce
1 tsp olive oil
-begin with getting a pot of water on the stove.
-while waiting for water to boil, prep veggies.
-cut the top off and take the seeds out of the pepper
-dice mushrooms and onion
-in a small frying pan use the oil to saute onion and mushrooms
-once water is boiling submerge the pepper as best you can and continue to boil til tender
-saute veg until onions are translucent in color
-add your turkey. you can season the turkey however you like or not at all if you prefer.
-cook turkey filling until cooked all the way through
-add half the tomato sauce, reserve the rest for later
-add half the cheese to mix
-mix and cook thoroughly
-when pepper is cooked, take out of the water and place in a baking dish
-bake at 350 degrees about 15-20 minutes
-remove from oven, add remaining sauce then remaining cheese and bake again about 5 more minutes
