Acorn Chicken Squash Soup

Introduction

Cream Acorn squash soup with chicken and onions. Oh my, a great harvest meal. Cream Acorn squash soup with chicken and onions. Oh my, a great harvest meal.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 cups of acorn squash peeled and cubed.
    12 ounces of chicken breast (no skin) cubed
    2 cups of water
    1 cups of chopped green onions or which every flavor of onions you like.
    1 can cream of celery soup

Directions

Skin and cube the acorn squash. Place in the water to cook at a simmer for 20 minutes. Add the cubed chicken and chopped onions, and cream of celery soup after 20 minutes. Bring back up to a simmer and simmer for 10 more minutes. Serve with hearty whole wheat or rye bread.
