Easy Peasy Baked Mac and Cheesy (adapted from tastykitchen.com)

Introduction

Ingredients

    cooked pasta, butter, flour, salt, pepper, non fat milk, nutmeg, dijon mustard, cheddar cheese, crushed goldfish crackers

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put cooked and drained (not rinsed) pasta back in the same pan the pasta was boiled in.
2. Melt butter on low in a separate saucepan.
3. Raise heat to medium-low and whisk in flour, salt and pepper, stirring until thick, smooth and bubbly.
4. Stir in nutmeg and dijon mustard.
5. Stir in grated cheese. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
6. Pour cheese sauce over pasta in pan. Stir until completely mixed together and evenly coated.
7. Pour mac and cheese into a sprayed 9x13 inch pan.
9. Place goldfish in a small plastic bag and crush with a mug, a can of vegetables, or a rolling pin. Sprinkle crushed goldfish on top of the mac and cheese.
10. Bake 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
