Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 cup steel cut oats
    1 small green apple, peeled, cored, and diced small (apx 130 g)
    2/3 c nonfat dry milk powder
    2 c water
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 c Splenda (or to taste)
    12 g chopped walnuts

Directions

Add everything except walnuts to a rice cooker and set on porridge setting. Cook until done. Add walnuts.

Makes 2 servings, apx 380 g each.

You could substitute liquid nonfat milk for the milk powder and water.
