Potato Soup with Sausage and Kale

Introduction

I took this recipe from a friend of mine who always cooks for our scrapbooking weekends. Very heart and filling. It's a lot of calories, so it's a "sometimes" food, but totally worth every bite! Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    4 Large potatos, cubed
    1 onion, chopped
    3 cups 1% milk
    dash of pepper
    1lb italian sausage, browned
    1 cup chopped Kale

Directions

Boil potatos and onions in salted water for 20 minutes, with water just covering potatos. Mash some. Add milk, butter, and sausage and heat 15 minutes or until desired thickness. Once think add Kale and cook 5-10 minutes more, Kale should still be a bit crips.
