Autumn Soup

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. carrots, chopped
    2 c. potatoes, cubed
    4 c. water
    4 chicken or beef bouillon cubes
    2 t. salt
    1 T. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 t. pepper
    1/4 t. basil
    1/2 t. chili powder
    1/2 t.garlic powder
    1 large can whole tomatoes

Directions

Brown beef, onion, and mushrooms in large soup pot. Remove fat. Add celery, carrots, potatoes, water, bouillon, and spices. Add tomatoes, broken up. Mix thoroughly and simmer at medium heat for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
Makes 6 - 2 cup servings.
