Marianne's Pecan Chicken

Introduction

This chicken is so good, the whole family asks for it all the time! This chicken is so good, the whole family asks for it all the time!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 cup fat free milk
    1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
    1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan cheese
    1 Tsp. Oregano
    1 Tsp. Basil
    1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
    4 Boneless Skinless chicken breast halves (4oz. Each)

Directions

Place milk in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, pecans, cheese and seasonings.

Dip chicken in milk, then roll in crumb mixture.

Transfer to a baking sheet coated with pam. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 170 degrees.

Makes 4 servings.

  • I used crushed crackers instead of bread crumbs. I recommend people use more crumb and pecan than what's listed, to add more flavor. Otherwise, great meal. Good taste and goes well with a baked potato and corn. Will definitely make again. - 1/9/11
