Introduction

Delicious high-fiber granola your kids will eat up. Great as a topping for yogurt or ice cream, or just as a healthy after school snack. You can add in almost any fun items for kids like chocolate morsels, M&M's or chopped dried fruit bits. Delicious high-fiber granola your kids will eat up. Ingredients

    2 C Old Fashioned Oats
    C Hodgson Mill Multi Grain Hot Cereal with flaxseed & soy
    tsp baking soda
    C whole wheat flour
    golden raisins
    C brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/3 c peanut butter
    1 Tbs canola oil

Directions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together the dry ingredients and raisins in a large mixing bowl.
Add the vegetable oil and peanut butter, stir in the vanilla extract and mix. The mi xture will be a bit chunky.
Crumble the granola onto a baking sheet with a silpat silicone sheet.
Bake the granola for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 10 min. Before storing, allow granola to cool completely and then store it at room temp. in a tightly sealed container.
