100% White Whole Wheat Bread - Home Made (Bread Machine)

Introduction

For 1-1.2 lb. Bread Machines. From the razzledazzlerecipe.com site. I used King Arthur's Organic White Whole Wheat Bread. I like whole wheat and other whole grains but I am using this and have found that our kids prefer the milder taste. With the first loaf I used rapid rise yeast (Hodgson Mill brand) and it worked great; except the loaf rose so much that the top stuck slightly to the lid of my bread maker! I found instant yeast as the recipe suggests and will use that for future loaves. I used honey and ground flax seeds (unground= nutrition cannot be absorbed). The cook time depends on how long it takes your bread machine to knead, rise, and bake the loaf. My machine takes approx. 2 hrs 20 minutes. Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups water
    2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
    1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
    3 cups King Arthur 100% White Whole Wheat or (3 to 3 1/2 ) Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour
    Ground Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 cup sunflower sesame or flax seeds, or a combination (optional)
    1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast

Directions

Put all of the ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed. Program for basic white bread, and press Start, or use your bread machine according to the manufacturer's directions.
