Turkey and cabbage Soup

Ingredients

    1 1/2 C chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 LB turkey sausage, chopped into small pieces
    6 C green cabbage, chopped
    3 LBS canned tomatoes, undrained
    1 1/2 quarts water
    1 Tbsp basil
    2 tsp dried oregano
    black pepper to taste

Directions

Spray stockpot with Pam. Saute onion and garlic until tender.

Add chopped sausage. Cook until lightly browned. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer until cabbage is very tender.
