Apple and Wine Oatmeal

Introduction

This recipe was a "clean out the kitchen" recipe, using almost rotten apples, the last of some old bown sugar, and the remnants of an opened bottle of chardonnay. This recipe was a "clean out the kitchen" recipe, using almost rotten apples, the last of some old bown sugar, and the remnants of an opened bottle of chardonnay.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 3/4 cup apple, peeled and diced (about two small apples)
    1 1/2 T brown sugar
    1 t cinnamon
    1/2 cup white wine
    1 1/2 cup quick oats
    1 3/4 cup water

Directions

Saute apples in white while, brown sugar, and cinnamon until soft.

Add oats and water, heat until the oatmeal is the desired consistency.

Makes 4 1 cup servings
