2 cups cornmeal
1.3 cups buttermilk
.5 stick butter
1/4 cup honey
put 1/2 stick of butter in a 9X9 pan and place in the oven.
While the butter is melting in the pan, whisk together cornmeal, beaten egg, buttermilk and honey.
Once the butter had melted (make sure that it doesn't burn!) pull the pan out of the oven and pour the hot butter into the cornmeal mixture. Quickly stir together then pour back into the hot pan.
bake for 20 minutes and check. it may need more time depending on your oven
