Introduction

This and Green Chile are absolute staples in New Mexican cooking. The traditional recipe uses ingredients like lard, which I have omitted to make a low calorie version. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 tablespoon I Can't Believe It's not Butter, light
    1 teaspoon flour
    1 14 oz. tub Bueno Red Chile puree
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/2 cup water
    2 teaspoons garlic, crushed
    1 tespoon salt

Directions

Makes 4.5 1/4 cup servings.

In a sauce pan put in the ICBINB, Light and flour and cook flour 3 minutes. It will be a thick paste consistancy. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer 10-15 minutes.
Enjoy with beans, on top of eggs, with your favorite mexican dish...pour it on top of just about anything!
