Introduction

Homemade Veggie Soup Homemade Veggie Soup
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Yam 1 cup, cubed
    Potatoe Red, 1 cup cubed
    Summer Squash, 1 cup sliced
    Cabbage 1/3 of a large head sliced
    Red Ripe Tomatoes-Romas 2
    Garlic 1 clove chopped
    Onion, raw 1/2 cup chopped
    Green peppers-bell 1/4 cup chopped
    Chicken stock/Veggie Stock 8 Cups
    Tomato Sauce 1 can/cup
    Olive oil 1 tsp
    Basil 2 tbsp
    Green Beans 1/2 cup

Directions

In a large stock pot, combine onions, garlic, bell peppers, basil and olive oil, sautee til onions are clear, add stock then veggies (all) bring to a boil then let simmer for an hour slow cook till all the veggies are cooked.

There are so many variations on these, you can season this to your taste, we don't do sodium in our home but you can add it for your family.
