Turkey and Tomato Soup Sloppy Joes

Submitted by: WEIRBETH1989

Introduction

This is another recipe that I found on another site, added a twist and made it my own healthy quick meal. :) This recipe is so filling, You could actually cut it in half, get half the calories and still be satisfied. It is a good meal for parties because just like regular sloppy joes, it's very easy to make a lot of them. Ingredients

    .5 Cup Campbells Tomato Soup
.5 cup 93% Lean Ground Turkey (4 Oz)
2 Slices Nickles Reduced Calorie Wheat Bread

Directions

One way I cut down on prep time is to cook the meat all at once ahead of time, (usually right when I buy it) and keep it in the fridge or freezer until I need to measure out a serving of it. The times you see are based on having the meat already cooked.

Mix the turkey and the tomato soup together in a bowl exactly the way you would with manwich and ground beef and microwave for 1 min (don't forget to cover! or you'll have a mess!) Toast the 2 peices of bread, and when all is done, I place the bread side by side and eat with a fork and knife, you can make an actual sandwhich if you preffer. :)
