2.5 cups hot water
3 chai tea bags
2 teaspoons sugar or 2 packets Splenda
1 cup milk (or half-and-half)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup cold water
3 (2 oz.) packets unflavored gelatin
whipped topping - optional (not included in nutrition information)
Seep tea bags in 2 1/2 cups hot water. Remove tea bags from liquid and stir in gelatin.
Gradually add milk (1% used in nutrition information)
Stir in vanilla and splenda or other sweetener and spices (to taste)
Pour into a mixing bowl and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
Whip until light and fluffy. Return to refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
