Ingredients

    For the Cocoa Brownies:
    1/2 c. butter, salted
    1/2 c. cocoa powder, unsweetened
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 small eggs
    2 tsp vanilla extract,
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. walnuts

    For the Pumpkin brownies:
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Libby's Canned Pumpkin Puree
    2 Egg whites
    2 eggs
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 cup whole wheat flour,
    1 tsp baking powder,
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
    2 tsp allspice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.
For cocoa brownies:
Melt butter, and add to cocoa. Stir well until blended and add sugar and, mix again. Add eggs, beating well after each. Stir in flour, salt and vanilla. Fold in nuts.

For pumpkin brownies:
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, pumpkin, egg, egg whites and oil. Beat until blended. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and allspice. Beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips.

Spray a large pan with nonstick cooking spray and pour both batters into pan. Swirl with a knife until marbeled. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Makes 35 small squares.
