Introduction

Adapted from a VegNews suggestion from August 2010 (I left out the almond butter to reduce fat and calories) and subbed in Swiss chard that I grew myself for the kale suggested. Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 cup Frozen Strawberries- about 7 strawberries
    1 medium Bananas, Raw
    1 TBS Bob's Red Mill Organic Golden Flax Seed Meal
    1 cup chopped Swiss Chard, Raw
    1/2 cup frozen Sweet Cherries
    1 cup Silk Organic Unsweetened Soymilk

Directions

Put all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Some blenders will do a better job if frozen fruit is added slowly to liquid as blender runs.

Serves 1.

If you use kale instead of chard, calories increase to 335 per serving.
