Introduction

I got the idea for this from the VegNews July/August 2010 issue on p. 32. I subbed in Swiss chard for the suggested kale because I had just picked the last from my garden. Ingredients

    1 cup Silk Soymilk Organic Unsweetened
    8 Strawberries, fresh, medium, frozen
    1/2 cup Frozen Cherries Dark Sweet Pitted
    1 Banana, fresh, 1 medium, frozen
    2 cups Swiss Chard ( leafy part) raw, chopped coarsely
    1 TBS Bob's Red Mill Organic Flax Seed Meal

Directions

Add soymilk, flax seed meal and Swiss chard to blender and run until smooth. With blender running, drop pieces of frozen fruit in, one at a time, and blend until smooth. Thick and fruity and really healthy for you!
