Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken (redone from chelleshocked to find out sodium)Submitted by: ISPAU22
8 bonless, skinless chicken breasts (I use schwan's frozen indv. breast)
2 cups salsa
1 pkg reduced soduim taco seasoning
1 can reduced fat cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup fat free sour cream
1 Queso Fresco & Chipotle Laughing Cow Cheese Light (optional)
Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken
Pour salsa and soup over chicken (add in cheese now if your adding laughing cow)
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
Turn off heat, add sour cream and stir in.
Can serve over rice or Shiratake noodles to not add hardly any calories.
Thank you to Chelleshocked who submitted this recipe, I only redid it so I knew what size chicken breast and wanted sodium content. This is delicious!
Still high in sodium, bud once in awhile this won't hurt, don't know who to lower it anymore other than totally cut out taco seasoning and just add different spices.
